Eco-Friendly day for 120 participants of Honda Camp Event held at La Mesa Ecopark, Fairview Quezon City last March 15, 2009, hosted by Honda Cars Kalookan in cooperation with ABS CBN Bantay Kalikasan and La Mesa Watershed.
One whole day full of activities, outdoor games and raffle prizes for the whole family.
Participants were filled with knowledge about taking good care of the environment, saving the Lamesa Watershed, conditions of our coral reefs, and different species of plants and animals and their threatened conditions.
After the short eco lecture, participants were brought to “Bahay Punlaan” where they had their tree planting and educational activity.
After a healthy lunch, HCKI clients participated in Eco Race (Amazing Race). Each group was given a task to solve a puzzle.
It was a very unique and amazing day for all the participants.
They went home with handful of prizes and giftpacks from our generous sponsors.-Nickelodeon, Zeeplus, Quacker Oatmeal, Growee,Globe, Have it All, Enervon, Magnolia Fruit Drink, RCBC Bankard and Learning is Fun.
What a fulfilling day!!! We end it up with saving the world in our own little way!
